Requirements
- Apply an extensive level of knowledge of electrical work
- Operate mobile equipment such as a fork truck, crane, and winch truck
- Order parts as necessary for repairs
- Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical equipment and systems
- Use complex electrical schematics and blueprints to troubleshoot and correct problems
- Perform some painting and carpentry work
- Assist electricians of higher classifications or work alone and direct the work of others
- Operate any and all plant tools necessary in this electrical work
- Perform routine tasks such as greasing, oiling, cleaning, and inspection of equipment and attachments
- Locate and remedy electrical trouble in most of the plant's various machines, equipment, and installations
- Charge and service batteries both underground and above ground
- Keep working area neat and orderly, and tools clean and in good repair
- Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices and FDA regulations as directed
