Job Description
Mortenson's Minneapolis Operating Group is seeking a Project Operations Accountant to provide accounting, analysis, and financial support to construction projects. This role will serve as the liaison between the Finance and Accounting department and the project team, focusing on budgeting, tracking subcontractors, processing payments, and ensuring accurate financial transactions. The accountant will contribute to project costs, prepare reports, and support audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years accounting experience, preferably construction accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Email, and Calendar systems
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication skills
