Job Description
Morrison, its team members, and clients commit to trauma-informed care, operating a 24-hour shelter for male and female minors ages 14-17. The role is for a Milieu Counselor, providing direct supervision of youths, facilitating life skills, and assisting with safety. This position works in conjunction with programs across Portland, Oregon, and requires a commitment to a trauma-informed model and a dedication to safety.
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- Driver License
- High School Diploma
- 1+ year employment experience in the child welfare field
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, databases, Outlook)
