Behavioral Health Technician

The Behavioral Health Technician supports clients with their treatment plans and daily activities, providing direct care, supervision, and communication to clients and their families. They record client activities, identify concerns, and follow established policies and procedures, contributing to a positive therapeutic environment. The role involves collaboration with the clinical team and client, with opportunities for development and participation in recreational and social activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Valid Driver’s license or State ID
• Must be willing to be available 24 hours a day (for on-call positions)
• Must be either a U.S. Citizen or have the legal right to work in the United States
• Must meet federal, state and local Criminal Clearance and Child Abuse Indexing requirements
• Must pass a drug screen and submit to random drug tests as requested
• Must pass a general medical evaluation
• Computer skills (ADP timekeeping, Microsoft Office Suite; EMR Kipu)
