Job Description
Monument Re is seeking a newly qualified Actuary with actuarial reporting experience to join a dynamic actuarial team. The role involves supporting statutory reserves and financial reporting, as well as contributing to business plan projections and risk management. This is a permanent employee position based in Dublin.
Requirements
- Newly or nearly qualified Actuary (IFoA or equivalent)
- Proven track record in actuarial reporting
- Experience of Solvency II and/or Bermudan EBS capital regimes
- Familiarity with scenario based approach or matching adjustment
- Working knowledge of UK GAAP or IFRS accounting basis
- Experience with reinsurance programmes desirable
- Effective communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivation and drive
- Ability to effectively collaborate and take initiative
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Prophet (an advantage)
