Human Factors Engineer

Monterey Technologies, Inc. seeks a Human Factors Engineer to apply human-centered systems engineering to the design and development of complex systems. In this mid-level role, you will learn and apply human factors principles under the guidance of senior team members to create effective solutions, supporting stakeholder requirements, conducting analyses, and advocating for end-users. The role emphasizes collaboration, knowledge sharing, and developing compliant, user-centric systems.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Human Factors Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Psychology, or a related field strongly preferred.
• Master's and/or PhD Degree preferred.
• 3+ years of demonstrated experience required.
• Solid understanding of human factors principles, usability testing methodologies, and HF regulations and standards.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate human factors findings and recommendations to diverse audiences.
• Desire to advance expertise in human-centered design.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and positively as part of a high-performing team
