Senior Producer

We are seeking an experienced radio producer with a passion for news and live broadcast to join Monocle Radio as a Senior Producer. The role involves producing live broadcasts and pre-recorded shows, establishing relationships with contributors and talent, and representing Monocle at global events.

Requirements

• Strong news sensibility with a global outlook
• Ability to assess and respond to unfolding global events effectively and with speed
• Trusted contact list of contributors and talent
• Ambition and drive to act decisively in response to breaking news
• Success in working both autonomously and collaboratively, managing ambiguity and making sound decisions under pressure
• Willingness and ability to travel and represent Monocle in editorial or commercial contexts
• At least five years' experience of fast-paced news production
• Additional languages beneficial in this role
