As a Certified Family Partner at Monarch, you will work with children, adolescents, and families impacted by mental illness, substance use disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and traumatic brain injury. You will develop person-and-family centered relationships and teach families how to overcome challenges and achieve a more stable family life.
Requirements
- Qualified candidates must already have, or be willing to obtain, a Certified Family Partners (CFP) certification upon hire.
- High school diploma or GED and a minimum of four years of experience working with the target population, OR Associate's degree in a Human Services field from an accredited school and a minimum of two years of experience working with the target population, OR Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field from an accredited school and a minimum of one year of experience working with the target population.
- Experience in navigating any of the child and family-serving systems and teaching the family members who are involved
- Experience working with children, adolescents or transition-age youth
- Lived experience as a primary caregiver for a child who has/had mental health, substance use disorders, or intellectual/development disability
