Job Description
Mohawk Industries is seeking a Twister Operator to join their Work-Based Learning program, specifically for high school students. This role involves operating and maintaining large treadmills used in yarn production, performing various tasks like yarn preparation, and keeping work areas safe. The program offers industry-leading training and opportunities for advancement.
Requirements
- Current High School Junior or Senior
- Reading and writing in Standard English
- Basic math calculations (addition, subtraction)
- Communication skills (verbal and written)
- Basic math skills
- Attendance and attendance guidelines
- Multi-tasking ability
- Ability to lift to 20 pounds
- Ability to work in a noisy, high traffic production floor
- Ability to work in non-climate-controlled facilities
