Job Description
This Nurse Practitioner (NP) position is a Per Diem role involving clinical judgement, diagnosis, and treatment planning. The NP is responsible for providing independent healthcare services, consulting with physicians, and managing health center operations. The role requires a focus on patient care and promoting optimal health.
Requirements
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) and NP in state of practice.
- Nationally Certified as FNP, ANP, or AGNP by AANP or ANCC.
- Valid NPI
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
- Current DEA license to write prescriptions under the authority of the Medical Leader.
- Current DOT medical examiner certification.
- At least one year (three years preferred) of clinical experience.
- Current DOT medical examiner certification in specified locations.
- Ability to train ancillary support staff on clinical skills.
