Job Description
MobiLab is seeking a passionate and skilled Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain data architectures and pipelines. The role involves analyzing and transforming large datasets, enabling machine learning models, and supporting customers' data-driven journeys. The ideal candidate is a team player with experience in data engineering principles, cloud technologies, and agile environments, committed to delivering high-quality solutions.
Requirements
- At minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer
- At minimum 2 years of experience in either Python or Scala and SQL
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Engineering, or a relevant subject such as mathematics or physics
- Experience in semantic modelling of complex data landscapes and familiarity with concepts of Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Vault, and Data Mart
- Deep understanding of various data stores (structured and unstructured)
- Ability to structure data pipelines for reliability, scalability, and optimal performance
- Comfort working with analytics processing engines (Spark, Flink)
- Experience with different storage formats (JSON, Parquet, ORC)
- Fluent English
