Mistral AI is seeking Applied Scientists and Research Engineers to drive innovation in multimodal learning, focusing on text, image, audio, and video data. This role involves designing, training, and deploying state-of-the-art models, working cross-functionally with teams, and delivering high-impact AI solutions. Requirements
- Fluent in English
- Excellent communication skills
- Expert with PyTorch or JAX
- Experience with VLMs, diffusion, image processing, robotics, or ASR/TTS
- Clean, readable, high-performance Python code
- Not afraid of tackling large codebases independently
