A unique opportunity to work at the centre of Government on high priority economic growth initiatives. Provide thought leadership on economic development policy with specific leadership in Pacific economic development policy work.

Requirements

• Strong strategic policy skills with the ability to shape direction and lead complex work, with expertise in Pacific economic policy.
• Excellent analytical capability and sound judgement in ambiguous or fast-moving environments.
• Proven experience producing high-quality advice for senior leaders and Ministers, including experience working confidently across Cabinet processes and the machinery of government.
• Skilled relationship-builder who can work confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to mentor others and lift policy capability across a team,
• Must have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand.
