We're seeking an experienced remote bookkeeper with expertise in QuickBooks Online to join our team. The ideal candidate has a heart for the local church and is a self-starter, able to manage multiple projects and work independently.
Requirements
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience using QuickBooks Online
- Demonstrated hands-on, paid experience working with churches or non-profit organizations
- Strong understanding of fund accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients simultaneously
- Proficiency with Google workspace and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial staff
