Job Description
Mindlance is a national recruiting company partnering with leading employers. Our client is seeking a Senior Network Engineer in Rosewood, CA, with strong interpersonal and project management skills to operate a large-scale LAN/WAN network infrastructure.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Firewalls – Palo Alto Networks and Juniper SRX
- Experience in setting up IPSEC VPNs with multiple vendor firewalls
- Experience in L2 technologies and Nexus 7k/5k/2k’s and technologies such as Fabric path, Fabric extenders, VPCs
- Design implementation and operational experience with Enterprise/carrier-class routers and switches (Juniper MX and Cisco Nexus preferred)
- Understanding of BGP and OSPF
- Experience in network tools such as Cacti, Nagios and Netflow
- Able to handle multiple, complex, short term projects and incidents simultaneously
- Comfortable documenting and explaining network topologies and Diagram explain and plan for future upgrades
