Cyber Security Specialist

This is a full-time, remote cybersecurity position requiring a technical expert to manage, support, and implement security technologies. The role involves incident investigation, security assessments, audits, risk management, vulnerability scanning, and threat hunting. Experience with financial institutions, government, or highly regulated industries is preferred. The position requires weekly travel, emergency off-hours availability, and collaboration with vendors.

Requirements

• 5-7+ years' experience in IT Security
• Experience with incident response, investigations and forensics analysis
• Extensive knowledge of security best practices in computer systems, networks, and telecommunications
• Strong analytical problem-solving and solution development skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and support functions in a fast-paced environment
• Passionate about security
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, SIEM, and IDS/IPS tools
• Strong documentation and communication skills
