Medical Assistant Instructor

Milan Institute is seeking a Medical Assistant Instructor to deliver comprehensive instruction, design engaging lesson plans, and provide guidance to aspiring medical assistants. This role involves developing and delivering curriculum, providing hands-on training, and assessing student progress. The instructor will work in a team-oriented environment, fostering student engagement and contributing to curriculum development.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credentials are preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a practicing medical assistant
• Strong knowledge of medical assisting principles, practices, and industry standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for educating and mentoring aspiring medical assistants
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in instructional technology and incorporating multimedia resources into teaching
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and medical office software
• Commitment to maintaining a positive, inclusive learning environment
