The Technician plays a critical role in providing data to doctors for proper patient care and treatment. They perform administrative and clinical functions, including obtaining patient histories, performing testing, and assisting doctors with exams.
Requirements
- Prepare patients for eye examinations
- Perform preliminary and doctor-requested tests
- Assist optometrist and ophthalmologist with patient procedures
- Coordinate patient scheduling and monitor patient flow
- Prepare exam room and maintain inventory
