Job Description
The Mammography Technologist is required to function within the parameters of the legal scope of practice and in accordance with the federal, state, and local laws; rules and regulations; and policies, procedures and guidelines of the employing health care institution or practice setting.
Requirements
- Current State of Texas License as a Radiology Technologist
- ARRT registered in Mammography or registry eligible
- Licensure Requirements – 15 mammography direct CEU credit hours in a rolling three- year time period
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a diagnostic technologist
- Documented 40 hours of mammography training and completion of 25 exams under direct supervision of an experienced technologist
