Job Description
Micron Technology is seeking Process and Equipment Maintenance Technicians to support wafer fabrication in a dynamic, innovative manufacturing environment. The role involves monitoring and sustaining equipment and processes, conducting analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, yield, and performance improvements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience performing preventative maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime
- 2+ years of experience using mechanical, electronic, and PC/software skills to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts (3 days on/4 days off and 4 days on/3 days off), rotate between day and night shifts every 4 months, and work overtime as needed
- Ability to wear fab-specific cleanroom garments at all times and occasionally wear PPE (e.g., chemical apron, face shield)
- Willingness to alternate assignments between the Remote Operations Center (ROC) and in-FAB, with approximately 80% of time spent in ROC and 20% in-FAB
