New College Grad - Process Engineer ID1

Micron Technology is seeking a Process Engineer to join their Boise expansion team. The successful candidate will improve process quality, work on yield and efficiency improvements, cost reduction, and resolve line issues in their assigned area.

Requirements

• Completes all required safety training and conducts all work in accordance with safety policies and regulations
• Ensures proper tool documentation/reaction mechanisms exist and submits updates to content
• Leads in expertise of executing area operations to ensure throughput needs are accomplished
• Resolves or escalates issues that could cause yield loss, excursions, defects, tool restrictions, or output loss in an urgent manner
• Applies SPC, FDC, and 8D methodology to process optimization, testing, creating, and modifying process related procedures, and disposition of lots to increase the tool availability and turns through systematic problem solving
• Monitors, analyzes, and addresses SPC issues for area processes daily and partners with Process Owners to resolve chronic SPC failures in the area
• Analyzes data using various application and engineering knowledge to make critical process decisions
• Perform project work to optimize wafer processing and increase area wafer outs
