Job Description
As an Equipment Engineer at Micron Technology, you will be responsible for the installation, functionality, and maintenance of equipment toolsets, including hardware and software, and maintaining tool performance as measured by availability to production and primary quality metrics. You will also analyze data to drive equipment engineering and partner with suppliers, process owners, and Shift Engineers/Technicians to complete daily activities.
Requirements
- Working in Fab process areas, including area processing equipment
- Working with PVD or CVD equipment for semiconductor manufacturing
- Identifying gaps and opportunities for workstation efficiencies
- Maintaining tool matching and driving machine hardware and software consistency
- Planning for required capacity and product mix
- Managing inventory levels
- Conducting TPM including TPM metrics, WS health reports, CIP items, machine tags, machine operating procedure documents and restoration guides
