Job Description
Job Description: We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our team at Michael Baker International. The successful candidate will analyze design criteria, interpret data, and prepare calculations for structural engineering construction drawings and specifications. The position involves working on building and non-building projects, providing engineering and project support, and acting as the Designer of Record (DOR).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural, Architectural or Civil Engineering
- 8+ years of experience, with a Master’s degree may substitute 1-2 years of experience
- Proficiency with RAM SS, RISA 3D, Tekla Structural Designer, ETABS, Revit, Enercalc, Microsoft Excel, MS Office Suite
- Familiar with structural design codes such as IBC, ASCE 7, ASCE 41, AISC, TMS, and ACI
