Maintenance Engineer Salary

Meyer Jabara Hotels is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure the overall success of the hotel by meeting or exceeding guest expectations for working order of mechanical systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for checking and performing major repairs to refrigeration, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning plumbing, water treatment, and electrical systems, as well as communicating with hotel department heads to become aware of maintenance needs and ensuring timely response to requests.

Requirements

• Two years of college or vocational training in electrical or mechanical engineering or plumbing
• A minimum of three years experience in a building maintenance department, including one year in a supervisory capacity
• Journeyman’s accomplishment in one of the trades
• Ability to train and lead others
• Ability to lift 75lbs. throughout an 8-hour shift
