Platform Engineer

Meticulous is a world-changing company that has built a fully autonomous and exhaustive testing platform for frontend codebases. We are looking for a Platform Engineer to own the systems that make this possible, design and build resilient infrastructure, and shape our incident processes for when things break.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a software development or platform engineering role
• Infrastructure expertise: Experience operating production systems on AWS (or other cloud provider), hands-on with Kubernetes, and enough Terraform to have opinions about how to structure it
• Strong technical foundation: Demonstrated ability to write production-quality code and solve hard technical problems (experience with Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, systems programming, or browser internals is valuable)
• On-call experience: you know how to triage issues under pressure, drive them to resolution, and write the postmortem afterward
• Awareness of security best practices and compliance requirements (SOC 2 or similar)
• Cost consciousness: not just making things work, but making them work economically at scale
