Job Description
Metalenz is developing next-generation sensing systems for consumer electronics using metasurface technology. The meta-optic intern will contribute to the design of imaging and non-imaging optical technologies, drawing upon knowledge in metasurface, diffractives, and optics. The intern will gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge products and contribute to system design. The position offers exposure to high-performance computing environments and collaboration in a fast-growing startup.
Requirements
- Currently engaged in PhD in Physics, Applied Physics, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
- Technical background in computational electromagnetics or diffractives.
- Comfort with high-performance computing environments and familiarity with Julia/AWS.
- Experience with MATLAB/Python or commercial E&M software like Lumerical, CST Studio, or MEEP.
