Network Engineer, Optical Deployment

We are seeking an Optical Deployment Engineer to deploy and support a large-scale production optical network. The ideal candidate is an engineer who can demonstrate working in a fast-paced environment, is a quick learner, proactive, and highly motivated.

Requirements

• Deploy, configure, and support a large-scale production optical network
• Create and maintain Engineering Design Packages
• Generate implementation plans and provide technical leadership and guidance
• Collaborate with vendors/manufacturers to evaluate new hardware/software
• Provide technical expertise to network provisioning engineers
• Plan, schedule and perform network maintenance, repair and upgrade tasks
• Work closely with Network Engineering, Logistics and equipment vendors & fibre providers
