Job Description
Mesabi Metallics is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer specializing in HVAC systems for steel industry projects. The role involves leading the design, implementation, and commissioning of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and air pollution control equipment to ensure efficient climate control and compliance with safety standards. The company is focused on a pioneering approach to sustainable mining practices and values its employees' contributions.
Requirements
- 7 to 15 years of hands-on experience in HVAC engineering.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC system design principles and standards.
- Proficiency in HVAC design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Carrier HAP, Trane TRACE).
- Experience with industrial ventilation, dust collection, and air pollution control.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary project teams.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent.
