The Senior Enterprise Service Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing end-to-end solutions to complex business networking and communications problems for new and existing clients. This individual's primary responsibility will be to serve our managed service contracts but may occasionally also work with the Project Management Office to staff project-based network implementation work, as well as respond to T&M requests.
Requirements
- 8+ years' experience as an IT professional
- Bachelor's degree in a business or IT-related field
- CCIE in Security
- Palo Alto PCNSE a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office (Including Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, PowerPoint, & Visio)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer relationship management skills
- Ability to break down technical concepts into business term
- Strong team player with emphasis on soft skills and relationship building
- In-depth knowledge of numerous security technologies
- Significant, hands-on experience with design principles ensuring high availability, reliability and security
- Extensive knowledge of current IEEE networking standards
- Experience with infrastructure costing and sizing, security infrastructure design, and DR planning
- Significant, hands-on experience with Cisco LAN/WAN networking and Internet hardware and software
