Job Description
MHP is hiring a Psychiatric Nurse to provide mental health care to participants in both outpatient and community settings. The role involves coordinating treatment, administering medication, conducting health screenings, providing counseling, and educating the healthcare team and community. This position focuses on promoting mental health and well-being, recognizing a commitment to Mental Health America’s Platinum Bell Seal Award.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (BSN preferred)
- Board-certified/licensed Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania
- 3+ years of nursing experience
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of psychiatric clinical and psychosocial/psychiatric rehabilitation practices
- Experience in servicing community mental health facilities
- Valid driver’s license
