Special Education Assistant

Memphis-Shelby County Schools is seeking dynamic educational leaders to establish a national model of education transformation. The role involves supporting special education teachers and providing a well-organized classroom environment, assisting with instructional materials, supervising activities, and reinforcing classroom lessons. This position requires a proactive and solution-oriented individual with a focus on student success.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate's Degree, or two (2) years of college experience
• Passing score on the ParaPro Assessment Test
• One year of experience working with children in an educational setting
• CPR and First Aid certification required
