Occupational Therapist - Inpatient - Per Diem - Days - MRHS

Provides occupational therapy services to patients needing to develop, recover and maintain occupational skills. The occupational therapist will supervise and delegate the care provided by certified occupational therapy assistants and therapy technicians, design and implement a plan of care, and educate and counsel patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.

Requirements

• Supervises and delegates the care provided by certified occupational therapy assistants and therapy technicians
• Designs and implements a plan of care
• Educates and counsels patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress
• Mentors peers and students
• Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services
• Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition
