Job Description
Performs administrative/clerical duties in support of an assigned nursing area. The position requires a commitment of three days per week, with 12-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM.
Requirements
- Performs needed clerical tasks, including copying, faxing, filing, and ordering/obtaining supplies
- Assists with processing patient admissions, transfers and discharges
- Assembles and maintains patient records and charts
- Greets patients and visitors
- Monitors, answers, screens, and routes all telephone calls
- Emergency alerts, pages, and overhead announcements as requested
