Job Description
This position supports Melton’s Operations Department on the Laredo Yard. The role is responsible for verifying load compliance, managing communication between brokers, drivers, and Operations leadership, and assisting with administrative functions.
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Forklift certification and 2 years experience operating a 30,000# forklift
- Fully English/Spanish bilingual, both written and spoken
- Customer service or logistics experience preferred
- Driving or yard jockey experience preferred
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Must be able to communicate clearly, handle stressful situations and pay close attention to detail with good organizational skills.
