Job Description
MedVet is seeking a full-time, hourly Operations Technician to manage hospital inventory, ensuring sufficient supplies and equipment are available for patients. This role involves order management, tracking shipments, communication with suppliers and hospital staff, and maintaining inventory accuracy. The Operations Technician will work collaboratively to improve hospital processes and assist with repairs and calibration.
Requirements
- Creates and submits orders to centralized purchasing team.
- Tracks and communicates backorders and delays in product receipt.
- Accurately processes and submits invoices for medical supplies.
- Completes inventory cycle counts and maintains inventory integrity.
- Assist with repairs of medical equipment and maintain asset management system.
- Adheres to all regulatory requirements including DEA, SBOP, FDA, OSHA, etc.
