Job Description
The Chief Scribe is a leadership opportunity with shared administrative responsibilities, exposure to clinic administration, and the chance to learn to lead and train a team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (in the process of earning or have already received)
- Demonstrated capacity for leadership and administration/management
- Willingness to complete the necessary training and associated competency testing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Sufficient level competency of Epic utilization
- Commitment of up to 5-10 additional hours per week for administrative tasks
- 6+ months of scribing experience preferred, but not necessary
- Experience working with multiple clinicians within the department is preferred
- Experience training new staff preferred
