Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead strategic and operational payment integrity initiatives within a healthcare organization. The role focuses on managing projects related to healthcare initiatives, including DRG validation, cost outlier reviews, and technology integrations. Collaboration with internal teams and external vendors is essential for efficient project execution and ensuring compliance.
Requirements
- 4+ years’ experience in healthcare project management
- 2+ years’ experience with DRG validation, hospital bill audits, or claims adjudication reviews
- Knowledge of HITRUST, HIPAA, HITECH, and general compliance standards in healthcare/IT
- Proficiency with MS Project, MS Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups), MS Office suite (Excel, Power Point, Word)
- Deep understanding of ICD-10 coding and healthcare audit practices
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to manage competing priorities and influence cross-functional teams
- Organizational and time management skills
