General or Echo Ultrasonographer - Part time/PRN

Medical Associates Clinic is hiring a part time, or PRN Ultrasonographer to join our general or cardiac imaging team! This person will be working with our excellent sonography team in a fast-paced environment to provide high quality patient care.

Requirements

• Scan appropriate areas of the body and produce images as requested by the ordering physician
• Recognize and understand the pathophysiologic changes as detected by ultrasound to perform preliminary assessment for the interpreting radiologist/physician
• Perform and document a complete patient history as it relates to the procedure ordered inclusive of pertinent clinical indications
• Review images for technical quality and diagnostic usefulness
• Assist radiologist and other physicians in the performance of interventional/invasive procedures
• Perform necessary equipment calibrations and maintenance as recommended by the manufacturer
