Job Description
Mediatech, a rapidly growing digital publishing house, seeks a skilled Information Security Researcher for its Cybernews.com brand. The role involves in-depth research and analysis of cybersecurity tools, services, and vulnerabilities, verifying technical details through testing, and collaborating with various teams to ensure accurate content and secure product development. The ideal candidate possesses a sharp analytical mindset and a proactive approach to threat detection.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools
- Experience in researching, analyzing, and fact-checking technical content
- Background in reverse engineering, scripting (Bash, Python, etc.)
- Familiarity with exploit stacks, threat modeling, and basic secure coding principles
- Excellent research skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects
