Job Description
MediaAlpha is a customer acquisition solutions provider focused on high-value insurance and healthcare categories. The Lead Software Engineer role involves owning the entire software development lifecycle, designing and implementing solutions for thousands of high-value transactions, integrating products with partners, and working with stakeholders to refine the team and company culture. The company is intentionally small and emphasizes agility and speed.
Requirements
- 7+ years experience in software development
- Strong programming skills, including software engineering methodologies and best practices
- Strong SQL skills and understanding of database and query optimizations
- Ability to quickly get up to speed on our technology platform (Perl)
- Strong coding skills
- Self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity and problem solving
