Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC is seeking an entry-level Manual Machinist to use power operated machine tools, repair and/or fabricate precision metal parts/components. The role is in-person based out of our St. Louis Repairs facility and offers a training period to learn from experienced machinists and turbine technicians.
Requirements
- Determine work procedures, machine tools, equipment and attachments to be used for assigned work
- Use of precision measuring instruments and equipment such as Vernier calipers, height gauges, inside, outside, and depth micrometers, parallels, gage blocks, dial indicators, and surface gages to attain accurate dimensions and maintain tolerances
- Set up/operate machines, including but not limited to, lathes, mills, drills, grinders, saws, boring equipment, etc.
- Must be willing to work extended hours during our peak season. This may require both day and night shifts.
