Job Description
DMC is seeking a qualified Welder to join their Repairs Division. The role involves fabricating, repairing, and maintaining metal components using welding techniques. Duties include repairing diaphragms, Westinghouse blades, stationary blades, nozzles, and installing repair straps. Strong customer service and leadership skills are also valued.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED/Apprenticeship classes or trade school
- Welding vocational school training or experience in TIG and stick welding
- Basic knowledge of welding procedures and techniques
- Basic knowledge of power generation equipment
- Knowledge of silver solder repairs
- Ability to read blueprints and follow procedures
- Ability to weld in various positions
- Good communication and customer service skills
