Job Description
McLane is seeking a Sr. Cloud Engineer to design, build, and maintain multi-cloud infrastructure. The role requires collaboration with various teams and stakeholders to champion open standards, automation, and cloud-native best practices. This is a hybrid position that requires reporting and working from the office at least three days a week.
Requirements
- Design and implement cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
- Develop and maintain IaC using tools like Terraform and Ansile
- Partner with development teams to integrate cloud best practices into the SDLC
- Engineer and support containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes
- Implement and enforce security controls and compliance frameworks
- Set up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting
- Analyze cloud usage and implement cost-saving strategies
- Design and implement DR and HA strategies
- Act as a subject matter expert and provide technical guidance
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and open standards
