Remote Accountant

MCI is a fast-growing tech-enabled business services company offering Customer Experience, Business Process Outsourcing, and Anything-as-a-Service (XaaS) cloud technology solutions. They are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to maintain accurate financial records, produce timely reports, and support internal controls, ensuring compliance with GAAP and contributing to the company's financial health. This role requires strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.

Requirements

• Manage Accounts Receivable processes, including invoicing, applying manual payments, generating aging reports, and reconciling accounts.
• Record routine journal entries and bank transactions.
• Perform monthly month-end closings and account reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
• Provide support to accounting team members.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail with excellent proofreading skills.
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
