Job Description
MBP is looking for an Environmental Compliance Inspector to support projects across Western Virginia. The candidate should have at least 2 years of experience with state and federal environmental regulations and related programs.
Requirements
- Inspect construction activities during all project phases
- Recognize and report noncompliance related to erosion & sediment control (ESC) and storm water management (SWM)
- Perform daily record keeping of project activities related to environmental compliance
- Monitor and perform environmental inspections to verify regulatory compliance
- Provide technical guidance during site visits
- Interpret and apply state and federal environmental laws, regulations, policies, and best practices
