Job Description
May Mobility is seeking a Field Autonomy Engineer to facilitate the deployment of autonomous vehicles to diverse locations, generating valuable insights and improving autonomous vehicle performance. This role involves maintaining and releasing mapping artifacts, developing specialized skills on May's ODD, and collaborating with various engineering teams. The company envisions a future where autonomous technology improves urban spaces and fosters sustainable, accessible environments.
Requirements
- Inspect mapping artifact quality and compatibility with approved software
- Improve May’s processes and tools for deploying autonomous vehicles
- Collaborate with Autonomy, Product Management, and other engineering functions to develop features across May Mobility’s product portfolio
- Build tools and features to support and improve Field Engineering workflows
- Represent the company professionally at public events
- Travel to May Mobility sites to provide hands-on support to technical issues and processes
