Job Description
Maveris is seeking an experiencedSenior Network Engineer to support the Department of State in Washington, DC. The role requires deep technical expertise in firewall management, Cisco technologies, and network security. The ideal candidate will be active with a TS/SCI clearance and provide leadership in technology modernization, network security, and systems integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- CCNA or CCNP required
- 8–10 years of enterprise IT systems and network administration experience
- Strong expertise with Cisco networking technologies
- Hands-on experience with Panorama Firewall Management
- Proficiency in routing protocols (OSPF, static routes, VLANs, ACLs, QoS, multicast)
- Experience with Windows OS, Active Directory, Linux, VMware virtualization, and SAN/RAID storage solutions
- Proven experience developing and implementing network security solutions
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills
