Production Operator

Mattr is seeking a Production Operator to support our manufacturing facility located in Calgary, AB. The Production Operator will be responsible for safely operating production machinery and using tools on the production floor.

Requirements

• Set up, run and shutdown manufacturing equipment
• Monitor product quality followed with appropriate responses
• Record manufacturing data. Use of database and reporting systems
• Able to understand manufacturing production schedule
• Follow 5S rules to meet Mattr Performance Goals
• Conduct all work safely while following the Mattr Safety program, procedures, and policies
• Verifying raw materials prior to use and throughout the manufacturing process
• Operate forklifts, manufacturing equipment, hand tools, and power tools
• Standing for long periods of time
• Repetitive tasks, lifting up to 50lbs
• Perform operator preventative maintenance
• Supporting and mentoring other Operators
• Understand procedures, processes, equipment and product
• Accept guidance, leadership, and supervision to achieve company goals
• Promote a positive atmosphere within the company
• Maintain a clean and organized workplace
