Job Description
Machinist I- 1st shift position at Materion, Newton, MA. Sets up and operates machining equipment, ensuring highest finished product quality. Requirements: high school or vocational degree, 1-3 years of machine shop experience, mechanical aptitude, ability to communicate in English.
Requirements
- Sets up and operates all machining equipment associated with the manufacturing of Tantalum and Niobium products
- Interpret drawings and plan work in a proper operational sequence
- Use precision measuring tools to verify that all work is completed within the required tolerances
- Maintains work area in a clean, safe and orderly condition on a daily basis
