Job Description
The Analytical Chemist provides technical support to the laboratory team, developing equipment, processes, and procedures used by technicians to test products in support of Materion's requirements for customers and management systems. The role involves developing analytical equipment, test methods, and practices, maintaining open communication, and providing training to other lab staff and customers.
Requirements
- Four-year degree in physics, chemistry, or engineering (preferably)
- High school diploma, technical school, or GED (minimum)
- 10 or more years of relevant analytical experience
- Mass Spectroscopy experience (preferred)
- Ability to perform mathematical equations relevant to advanced Chemistry
